We can arrange tours for interested groups and we run open days throughout the year
Brixham Battery Heritage Group & Museum
We are a group of passionate volunteers who maintain the former coastal artillery battery based in Brixham, Devon. We have an excellent free entry military museum with a range of WW2 (and earlier) artefacts and exhibits; including a genuine wartime Anderson Shelter, naval and anti-aircraft guns. We also have a shop selling Battery souvenirs, militaria, books and toys!
Here you can keep up to date with our open days, new improvements to the museum and battery buildings and see photos of our special events.
We are always collecting new items of interest (especially with a local connection). If you have something you would like to share whether it be memories of Brixham from the war or an interesting object, please come and see us or get in touch!
If you would like to get in contact with us about anything, you can either use the contact form on the website or find us on Facebook via the button below
We are also always looking to recruit new volunteers to help us with our work. If you have an interest in military history or are just keen to preserve an important part of WW2 British history then we would love to hear from you!
